WHAT ABOUT WEAKNESSES?

James 5:16 Confess your FAULTS one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

However true the verse above is, it'd be great if Believers do not end it at "Confess your faults one to another." And what amazes me today is that, when you make your fault(s) known to people, that is the so called self-righteous folks, they'd make you FEEL worthless. Tell them you e.g. FORNICATED! (Most especially, with a chorister.) What?! Are you serious?! Did you really do that?! You need to ask for forgiveness from God not me! God has withdrawn His protection from you the moment you did that! Don't you know that what you did CANNOT make you inherit the Kingdom of God?! You lost the gift of Holy Spirit already! Brother why?! You have to retrace your way back to your first love!

More so, You have to CONFESS your sin to THE WHOLE CONGREGATION before you can be finally forgiven! Bla...bla...bla... Those are the stuffs you hear. But the Apostle James advices such person to do so, so that he may be healed in the flesh. That Condemnation may not have a place in his mind. How? In prayer! (Edification.)

Now if you're in a church and peradventure one does such and he tells the Pastor and he commands that he confesses it to the congregation, or makes him a topic in his sermon. Leave the church! Get out of there! It's not a church of Christ, it's not acting as one! Don't confess your FAULT to a fool! He'll only make a mockery of you. They'll deliver you to SATAN (accusation) for more condemnation. For DISGRACE!

But what about 1 Corinthians 5?

In a large scale, a case as such happened in the Church in Corinth. Paul said such a person should be delivered to accusation. 1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan (Not literally Devil, rather "accusation": a formal charge for doing wrong) for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. For Correction! That his flesh may destroyed! That His spirit may be saved! It's obvious he's not a Believer. His flesh is not yet destroyed, unlike the Believer. His Spirit is not yet saved, unlike the Believer. His flesh is not yet crucified.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our OLD MAN (the flesh) is crucified with him, that the BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED, that henceforth we should not serve sin. That's a Believer instead! But he's not! Paul identified such a one as THAT WICKED PERSON!

1 Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. That's not a Believer, dude! If any man does such, He must be corrected (according to faith)! Not condemned! If condemned, how will he be saved? Now if a Believer is found in such, acts in the way of THAT WICKED ONE. He must me corrected! He must be reminded who he is in Christ. He's more than such acts! His body is the Temple of God still. He has the Holy Spirit still! He's an Eternal Holy Spirit.

And how will he change if the Holy Spirit leaves him? You see, it's not possible Him to leave if God really wants him to change! He's the righteousness of God still. He's pure still! He must me reminded! Not condemned! Not disgraced! If he feels condemned, He must be healed! Apostle James instructed that he must be healed! Not that more condemnation should be hipped on him for a DISGRACE! NO! IF such happens in your Church! Leave! I mean, Get out of there!

Dear Believer, if you find yourself in the midst of folks like this: Those who input wrongness to a Believer in Christ, who do not SYMPATHIZE with the Believer struggling to be better, who do not care to help them out of condemnation (conscience issues) but rather instills wrath and condemnation to him. DO NOT TALK TO THEM about yours. James 5 does not apply to them!

They do not carry the message of Christ! Tell it to Jesus instead! They will make mockery of you! They will gossip you! Many would use it against you in numerous occasions, in your presence and wickedly in your absence. Friend, you have the best hope in Christ! Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our WEAKNESSES, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. NKJV He can sympathize with your Weaknesses. See the adulterous woman, Jesus did not give her to the hand of Condemnation!

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. That's the Jesus we are joint-heirs with. We do what he does too! Listen to Paul. "2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Confess his Righteousness instead! Confess His strength instead! Let his POWER rest instead on you! Not shame! Not condemnation! Yeah...

You Masturbate? You Smoke? You can't control it? Confess His strength! He's able to help you out of ALL ADDICTIONS! You have no need to tell it to some SELF-RIGHTEOUS FOLKS! Nope. You're covered FOREVER in Christ. Talk instead to Jesus even if you feel like telling someone. He hears you. He knows you. Before you did, he knew that your strength would fail. By strength shall no man prevail! Let his strength manifest in your Weakness. Remember that friend.

Let Him do what he died for. Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS before the presence of his glory WITH EXCEEDING JOY, He's able to present you as one WITHOUT FAULT (weakness). He's doing it, not you. Stay strong in Christ. Eternally worthy.

Much love.
