1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. This verse says there is a TRUE GOD. And that He is whom Jesus has revealed by giving us the understanding of Him. 

Dear friend, anything you know about God that is not found in Christ is not the character of the TRUE GOD. The killer called God is not the TRUE GOD. The God who teaches humility by striking with disease is not the TRUE GOD. The God who asks for you to become better before he can accept you is not the TRUE GOD. Jesus did not kill. Jesus healed the sick instead. Jesus justifies the unjust. Listen to the testimony of the TRUE GOD about Christ. 

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; HEAR YE HIM. Jesus is the only TRUE definition of the TRUE GOD you can have. Not on the lips of any (Moses or the Prophets), but Christ. You've got to "format" every image of the bad God you have. 

This is when you won't say, "Allah and the God of the Christians are the same". This when you won't say, "God is fierce". This when you won't say, "God has some bad part, he only reveals his good part to his children". This is when you won't say, "God kills and makes alive". A proper clue to Ananias and Sapphira. It is only Biblical if it defines Christ or Christ is seen in it, not just because it is found in the Bible. A tip to a sound THEOLOGY (knowledge of God). Are you there? Blessed.
