THE GOSPEL OF IMMORTALITY

The standard of the Gospel remains whether or not we take it. Whether it is obvious or not. We now have the generation of Believers who only want to see before believing. The same foolishness as Thomas’.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. (NKJV)

Many have this ideology that “seeing is Believing”. Well let me tell you, your theory is absolutely wrong in the things of the spirit, the reverse is the proper way to it. “Believing is Seeing.” Believers are not yet immortal in their physical state but they really are in the Spirit. That’s who we are. The life Jesus promised us is Eternal.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (NKJV)

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (KJV)

Believe this because Jesus said so. Don’t wait to see a Believer fall from skyscraper and lives before you finally agree that there is Eternal life for the Believer. So far He is in the flesh, He’s still a mortal being. He can fall sick. He can die. He can bleed, thirst, hunger. A Believer may suffer persecution. He may see pain. But does that define the Believer in Christ? No. Rather faith. We work by faith and not by sight. We are regenerated folks on the inside. Though we may suffer, that does not define us. We are of good cheer, we overcome already.

Romans 8: 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be REVEALED IN US. (NKJV) The affliction is lighter compared to the glory set before us. Though our bodies perish, yet we are eternal. Crouched but not destroyed. Dead but not dead.

1 Corinthians 15: 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. (KJV)

Jesus said we have ETERNAL LIFE already; we have passed from death to life. When he appears, we will have our bodies changed to the real image we are on the inside. We are like Him. As He is, so are we here on earth. We rule here with eternal authority. That is us. Our Believing on Christ. “I am the resurrection and the life, if any man believes on me, though he were dead, yet shall he also live.”

Though we have mortal bodies, yet we are immortal beings. We shall assume immortality when He comes. We live forever. Don’t be foolish. Because Believers die, you say eternal life is nonsense? Your perception was wrong, friend.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. (NKJV) Hear the good news, Believers don’t die. We are eternal, we don’t die. Death is swallowed up in victory.

The world will die, it will pass away: but not us. Rivers don’t drown us. Accidents don’t kill us. Mortuaries don’t preserve us. Caskets don’t burry us. Our bodies don’t decay. It is not revealed yet what we are as sons, but we are. Eternally worthy. We shall be like Him as we see Him.

This hope keeps us living. It purifies us, even as we are pure. We live forever in Eternal glory because we Believed. We work by faith. Christ died, so we live. We are immortal beings.

Amen.
