BELIEVERS BELOW AUTHORITY
It is not enough for a child to be a prince; rather it is more important for him to know that he is. Over a long period of time, I have realized that many believers are living below who they are in Christ. Many stand against the gospel of truth by saying, “You are preaching heresies.” But the question is, “are their assumptions true or they are heretic to them because of their lack of ability to acknowledge the truth?
The bed rock of manifestation is knowing. Before a King can exercise his authority as one starts with the knowing of himself not being a commoner; rather he now is a King. “Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Simple! We find ourselves in some abysmal situations just because we do not KNOW some things; probably some facts. Take for instance, a prince who does not know himself as one will keep eating grasses with commoners until he is informed of his royal lineage. Jackie Chan once asked himself in one of his movies; WHO AM I? It is directed to you now, WHO ARE YOU?
Who we have become in Christ is written all over the pages of the scriptures. We are sons, ”John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God”; a son is the begotten of the Father (God). We are God’s children. It is our RIGHT! We are Princes; the major manifestation of a prince is dominion. The bible says, “Ps 115:16 … but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” To do what? To rule. Note, a prince commands result, “Matt 16:19 …whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” We even take charge of the heavens!
We are the righteousness of God. If I may ask; ARE YOU RIGHTEOUS? Many would reply saying, “no, not fully”, “I wish I am”, “that’s the only thing I’m still working towards now”, “my obedience is not yet complete.” Good but lame excuses! But the good news which many have called heresy and have failed to KNOW is this; it is His (Christ) righteousness and not your rightness or right living! (Titus 3:5, Gal. 3:11, Rom. 1:17). Righteousness is not a state of living, rather; it is a state of being. “II Cor. 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Did he accomplish the mission? Yes, He did. He gave himself to bring us to the standard of God. When God sees you, he sees himself; his holiness; his righteousness; his perfect work; his Love; also, his Glory. For this reason, we have the boldness to come to His throne because as Christ is in heaven, so we are here on EARTH! (I John 4:17)
Think of anything Christ would be in heaven, that is WHO YOU ARE! Is he holy, beautiful, whole, mighty, wonderful, or perfect? Yes and that is just the definition of YOU. This is what you have become, and not that you are aspiring to be; you are a new creature; the righteous one, the unrighteous is gone. That is who you are; it is what we have BECOME. It is your IDENTITY and the totality of our Authority in Christ.
