Life’s Struggles

I discovered that most of the struggles a lot of us face in life, most especially when it comes to social interactions, we learnt them growing up as kids, under our parents—ingrained by fear and ignorance.

See, I don’t blame the parents really because most of them don’t know the effect of their actions on their kid. Some parents have good intentions. They just want to protect their kid and teach him how to live, you know; but ignorantly, they cripple him, making him unfit to the world around him.

Being a good kid back at home got him all the good stuff from the parents all the time… Having the best result among other kids always got him the bicycle and other Christmas bonuses… But in reality as a grown-up, his kindness doesn’t automatically make people kind to him; his result/certificate doesn’t always set his table.

Hence, the unprepared kid struggles with real life challenges and complains that “people are fuck-ups”, “the world is against me”, “life is unfair” etc.

See, the thing is this, the kid, by himself, must learn, consciously, that life at home isn’t the same as life outside of home. Life outside is a mess. And in this world of madness, the only way to live is to LEARN to remain sane.

But unfortunately, many of us skip that course in college.

See, what I’m saying is that life doesn’t really care about your shit, whether or not you’ve outgrown childhood, it just looks straight at you—your physique, your large beards, big boobs and ass—and just throws you ADULT STUFF.

And most times, you’ll have to take it anyway.

You celebrate birthdays, right? Yes. But how?

It’s why I wrote this article, ADULTHOOD.

To show you something—what you need to know.

It’s simple and straightforward. I want you to read it.
