Finding Your Peace In The Storm

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

Ever watched a pirate movie and there is a storm? We notice that the captain calls out the crew to set sail for the eye of the storm. Why? Because that’s where the waters are calm, that’s where they can literally be at peace. However to set sail there, there has to be a will to survive as they face unforgiving large waves.
Your storm might not be as the pirates at sea, it could be a relentless endless loop of mindless chatter you have no idea on how to stop or a challenge which can be eating you up. Whatever the case may be, storms are often exasperating and the only logical way to overcome this storm is to find it’s eye ~ Peace.

Peace therefore is the freedom from upsetting thoughts or feelings (Mariam webster). A state or period in which there is tranquility inwardly and outwardly… It is Free from the Storm.

There are basically three theoretical framework to define peace:

• Individual peace that is peace within.
• Social peace, relationships between people and social groups.
• Political peace
But our laser focus will be on individual peace otherwise called inner peace.
