Allow yourself to make mistakes. Allow yourself to do stupid stuff. It affirms that you’re only human—stuff you’ve been running from your entire life instead of embracing.
Things you made a mountain out of their molehill, things you thought were a big deal; if you allow yourself to do them, you would realise that there’s nothing so special about them anyway. You would either do them more or refrain from doing them because they’re unnecessary. Life is just like that. Allow yourself to do the things you dread the most.
Don’t even worry about what will come out of something. It’s okay to be anxious. It’s okay to be wrong. Just do it. Make it an adventure—an enjoyable one. Do your best to make it interesting. See every situation as something you could learn from. Uncertainty is your friend. Fear nothing.
The only thing you know for sure in life is that you will die someday. Where, When or How? You don’t even know. But why? That is simple. You are human. Other things are uncertain. (Good for you if you have faith in life after death)
Enjoy life. Live to the fullest. Do what you want to do but don’t hurt people or yourself. It’s not a limitation to freedom; it’s loving yourself and others. Make your own story happen. Sweet stories without a little bit of tragedy/risk taking bores people. Are you living for people? No. Do you want to bore your children. Certainly not. That’s what I’m saying.
Mine sincerely,
Hagios A. Akins
