We are in a mobile world that is moving at an extremely fast pace, where things are absorbed and regenerated quickly into another greater version. This process is a cycle that affects variably every living and non-living thing, and as the progression of the world continues, everything inside it moves along with it.
This brings us to an exception called Stagnation. The Oxford dictionary defines stagnation as the state of not flowing or moving, or the lack of activity, growth, or development.

This inevitably affects humans negatively and brings about regret, which will be difficult to amend. Amendment most times takes an extremely long period, and often time its result may not be as awesome as it would have been initially.
The Doing Syndrome is the ability to calculate risks, profit, and loss, make decisions at a very good pace, and start up immediately. It simply means the ability to make decisions and the act of doing them diligently without procrastinating.
There are times when decision-making can be difficult. However, if you remain like that without doing anything it leads to more loss. You need to do what you need to do regardless. When you are lost and can’t seem to decide which way to go, given various options. Critically go for the one with less risk and more benefit.

Sometimes, not doing anything means doing something too, it is different from procrastination. It means after considering the variables the best option to create an optimal result is to not do anything.
Benefits of the Doing Syndrome
1. It brings increasingly good progress
A person maintaining a stagnant position has no movement either forward or backward. However, the doing syndrome pushes you forward and swiftly helps you realize your goal and it’s just a matter of time before you latch on to the fact that you have accomplished a lot.
2. It helps you to think and analyze accurately at a very fast pace
The doing syndrome comes with a positive mindset and the willingness to achieve something no matter the obstacles that are laid down. Thus, all your thinking is projected towards ensuring the success of your goal, critically comparing and contrasting the odds, and stepping into it without delay or hesitation.
3. It kills procrastination and gives courage
When you have the mindset of being up-to-date and successful, you naturally will want to do what you need to do at the right time, and deciding to do that thing is the courage that comes along with it.
4. It helps you manage your time effectively
As they say, time is money and that is for those who deeply understand the value of time. The same time that the poor has is the same time given to the rich. When you are active, know what you are doing, and not humming and hawing, your time has been used in the most precious way.
5. It increases your skills and makes you good at what you do
Consistently applying the doing syndrome in your dealings and lifestyle will eventually reflect in your deeds, helping you to make better decisions today than yesterday. It helps you to outgrow your fears, understand what you need to do, and helps you learn from your mistakes faster.
6. It reduces pressure
When the to-do things are accumulated it brings pressure and eventually not being able to do them all again, thereby losing many tangible things. You start having to choose between those options, you lose focus and might end up doing it all wrong.
Failures are part of life, if you don’t fail, you don’t learn, and if you don’t learn, you don’t change. In the wise words of Tal Ben- Shahar, “Failure is an inescapable part of life and a critically important part of any successful life.”

In conclusion, the fact that we make a decision and do them does not accurately mean there will be no failure, even the best decision might not be the best for us. However, not doing anything is worse because after a series of calculations, the result of the decision can either be positive or negative but one thing is sure and that is the fact that you are not stagnant.
As much as the world and its continuous changes are flipping people here and there, the doing syndrome helps you settle, be stable, and be able regardless of the change that might or will occur.
Get up and do what you need to do.
